ABOUT

Petra’s journey through movement has taken her from the world of classical ballet to Pilates and the Feldenkrais Method®, shaping a unique approach grounded in awareness, precision, strength, and curiosity. She began studying classical ballet at the age of six through the Vaganova technique and went on to graduate from the Hungarian Dance University. Her professional career led her to the Oklahoma City Ballet Company, where she discovered Pilates. This became a turning point in her understanding of movement and deepened her appreciation for the relationship between the body, mind, and movement. Now based in Canada, Petra works with athletes, artists, and people of all backgrounds who want to move with greater ease, strength, balance, and freedom. Her extensive training includes Pilates, BIM Yoga, Progressing Ballet Technique, gymnastics, gait mechanics, the Silva Method, and the Feldenkrais Method®. Drawing from her experience across dance, movement education, and somatic practice, Petra brings together the precision of physical training with the curiosity and awareness of mindful movement. Her work is not about forcing the body into a particular shape or movement, but about learning to listen, explore, and discover what is possible.
Petra believes that when we become more aware of how we move, we open new possibilities for how we feel, move, and live. Through Feldenkrais and Pilates, she invites each person to develop a deeper relationship with their body—to find greater ease, strength, creativity, and freedom in movement and in life.
CLASSES
Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® classes are available online via Zoom, offering a gentle and curious approach to exploring how you move.
Developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, the Feldenkrais Method® is a form of somatic education that uses slow, comfortable movements to develop awareness and discover new possibilities. Rather than pushing, stretching, or working harder, you are invited to slow down, notice how you move, and explore different ways of moving with greater ease.
With regular practice, you may experience greater ease, coordination, balance, and freedom in movement, along with a deeper awareness of yourself.
Awareness Through Movement® is suitable for people of all ages and levels of experience. No special fitness or flexibility is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down, listen, and explore.
